Pair of elite palanquin links,

decorated with lotus-leaf motives and nagas. -Nāga is the Sanskrit and Pāli word found in Hinduism and Buddhism for a deity taking the form of a snake . -

As shown by the illustrations on the walls of Angkor Wat, Palanquin were used mostly to carry court women.
